Used with 3 step sticks, allows me to put my first stick at over 6 ft. Little flimsy at the bottom but works just have to be careful.

The webbing for the steps started to rip out during the first use

This is a solid made aider. The stitching looks great. Colors good for what I'm doing. My only issue is the height from the top step to where it hook into my climbing stick. It has to be 20"+ with my weight on that top step making it sag. I'll probably cut it and shorten it myself.

Decent quality but I would go with a shorter one next time. To long and the bottom wants to kick out when you climb.

I purchased this as an aider for my climbing sticks for hunting. I’ve only used it a few times so far while prepping sticks for the hunting season, but so far I’ve liked/disliked the following:Pros:- Easy to get even thick, heavy muck boots in the steps while ascending and descending- Very lightweight, but feels sturdy- Very long, but still doesn’t kick out side-to-side too much while climbingCons:- When pulling my foot out of each step, it produced a loud *thwang* noise from the tension. Might become a deal-breaker if I can’t find a way to make this quieter- The distance from the top step to the top supports of the aider is VERY long. I ended up having to hang the aider off the top step of my climbing stick (Hawk Helium) in order to clear that last step between the aider and my stick

This assist allows me to take less steps and still get over 20' on public land. These were made so well that I trust these as much as I trust my steps. Lock in your step well and stomp on this to get that first on ine really good and you can place the item just above eye height for your first step. Meaning your first step is starting at around 5 and a half to 6 foot.

I bought this aider to add to my hawk cli.bing sticks to eliminate the need to carry all 4 sticks. These are easy to put on sticks, are very sturdy, and overall a great addition to climbing sticks. I'd for sure reccomend these to anyone looking to lighten your hunting gear weight!

I didn't get this for hunting. I got this as an escape ladder from a second story balcony. I've priced escape ladders and they are up to 10x the price of this hunting rope ladder, and they take up a LOT more space. This is such a great alternative and I can keep it handy in the nightstand drawer next to the balcony door. It's a good length for getting you down from the balcony to the first floor deck, in the event of a fire. I put carabiners on the ladder straps and bolted eye bolts into the side of the balcony (2x10 joist), so all we have to do is snap it and go. Hope I never need it, but if I do, I'm ready!
