Your cart is empty. The 3 step aider gets you the most height out of a climbing aider. Any more steps on the aider and you simply wouldn't be able to attach the aider to your climbing stick. Keep the 3 step climbing aider in your mobile hunting bag and use it when you need to get a little higher in tree or use it as part of your normal setup and remove a climbing stick or two. Two step attachment loops and a top rung that can withstand upward or downward pressure for one step sticks gives you multiple attachment and climbing stick options. Always use a safety harness in conjunction with this item.

I used this product with my hanging tree stand. Going up the tree my foot slipped off and stabbed my leg on my tree stand steps. Product is dangerous and I returned it.

I've used these aiders about 7 times. It becomes quite frustrating when your boots won't slide in the loops. It takes a min to get your foot in and secure to stand up, then find the next step and so forth. Does the job. Definitely easy to put on the sticks. If your not careful it has the tendency to slip off a side of your stick but i only use it for my first stick so I'm closer to the ground regardless.Only improvement ide ask for is a more rigid foot hold. Good value for the money though, the material is tough.

Especially for beginner climbers, this tool is great. Easy for steps that aren't as accessible, as well as training new climbers and getting them comfortable.

This rope ladder is thin. It’s difficult to use and doesn’t have an adjustment for the loops that go on the anchor. Because of its small size it does take up little space.

This is longer than I expected it to be. I think it’s longer than my Lonewolf full-size climbing sticks. I don’t think I can put the first climbing stick high enough to keep the first step of this either off the ground. That’s how long it is. I’d rather have it a little long than a little too short though. It seems well-made but seeing as how it’s stitched together, I still wouldn’t want to put it on a second climbing stick. I wouldn’t want it to fail when I was 10 feet up. I like the steps having reflective material to help me climb down in low light. With four climbing sticks, I can only get about 16 feet off the ground and for me that isn’t high enough. I like to be at least 20 feet up and this aider will help me get there. Now I think I’ll finally be able to start using my Lonewolf stand.

I decided to get this ladder aider to help make my mobile saddle hunting setup much lighter by not carrying an additional climbing stick. This aider saves me a lot of weight and eliminates a bulky metal climbing stick that could clang against gear and turn a hunt into a bust. Setting up the aider was easy, but I did notice the loop's face perpendicular to the ladder, making it a bit odd to connect, as it causes the steps to flare out. The aider was steadying and held my weight up easily. My way down was not as easy, as I noticed one of the loops came off, making it impossible to use the aider down. I ended up having to do a bit of a maneuvering with my lineman's belt in order to get down close enough to the ground to drop down. It was pretty windy while I was testing it out, but it would be great if the aider attached and had some method to cinch down to the connected ladder to ensure it does not disconnect while you are up the tree.

One thing about climber sticks is that they are more portable. Then there is the question of how high can you install one and this is the answer. This has five sturdy steps, and you can use it for all five steps or less.Once I got my foot on the first step the others were easily useable. I had no concern of them coming loose as they have a cord to secure it to your climbing stick. When it was moist the steps were not slippery. I wore size eleven hunting boots, and I was able to climb all five steps and then the climbing stick. Admittedly, I have left the climbing stick locked up and on a tree. Removing these portable steps makes it very hard for someone else to use or take my climbing stick. The stick feels more secure against theft than my tree stands.Taking my climbing aider steps off and carrying them is very light. Plus, by taking them with me I can let them dry and not get slippery or moldy. Just a spray with a garden hose cleans them up. Before I got this set of steps my climber stick was lower than I wanted. Now I have a better height. Climbing down the steps was not hard at all.Being inexpensive, this is a great buy. Try one and you will love it.
