Got the product in timely manner. Slight issues with them. Seller was great and fixed the problem. Will definitely buy from them again.Decent made trays. One hole in bottom of each cell, so if let plants grow to long should still be easy removal. Silicone goes 3/4 way up for easy removal. Looks like they are going to be worth the investment

I do like this more than the others I had purchased. The dome is high, and the individual seed pots are a winner.

Good quality. Would be better if sold in a six pack to completely fill standard seed trays.

Not terrible by any means. Seems like it could do the job for a few seasons. One big problem is that the tray liner actually has its own little cups that line each of those compartment for soil. The actual liner is not deep enough to use as an actual seedling tray so if the cups are missing then it really renders the whole tray useless. Not only that it's not come with extras, it actually came two short. Not sure what I'm going to use to fill those two spots. Kind of messes up the entire 12 tray.

These are comparable to the name brand one from the store. However, please pay attention to the sizes when ordering. These are smaller than what I wanted, but my mistake. I’m keeping them as they are great and will work very well for starting my seedlings. I am an avid gardener and have a very large outdoor garden and have just bought a green house. Those of you who have the gardening disease understand where I’m at! PS, there is no such thing as a green thumb! There are those who just keep at it until they succeed! (The color green is just the stain from pulling copious amounts of weeds)

For the price, $20ish USD, I was expecting to receive something a step up from a plastic bag on the sturdiness scale. I just wanted something decent, less likely to get squished in the refrigerator by a jug of milk. I'm sure I was only thinking about price per container, box is a box. This set is so great on so many levels. It's making things so much easier than the basic seed-starting containers I've used. I can't imagine wanting or needing to do anything with a seed that couldn't be done in these mini-greenhouses: extra tall lids/domes, easily adjustable humidity, oddly fun terrarium design, very sturdy pieces/parts. Even those initially silly-seeming, hobbit-vibing, garden tools are bewilderingly useful.Sturdy is especially important, because each stack of pieces arrives suctioned together with other-worldly strength. It's truly humbling to behold. Once you eventually wiggle that suction loose for each and every pot and piece, though, the fun can begin. These are working perfectly for stratifying carnivorous plant seeds.*** I imagine these would make such fun mini-terrariums for a summer project or experiment - maybe a moss garden. The height gives them a particular look.

The silicone makes it easier to remove seedings and push the entire root ball out. It will hold up to use but the drainage hole in the bottom is quite large so when you try to fill it with dry potting soil, it runs out. I cut small squares of newspaper to place in the bottom to hold soil in, or you can wet the soil first, then put it in the bottom. It may drip out with watering later, but I haven't tried this way, so don't know for sure. All other silicone seeding trays seem to have the same size drainage hole, so doesn't seem like you can escape this problem.

I did a lot of product research in setting up my seedling start set-up and happily decided on these. They are good products, sturdy plastic structure and silicone bottoms with cute smiley faces for drains - which my kids loved. Functionally, they are doing their job with plenty of starts growing well. I still have them with bottom pans, but they would easily work in cross-hatch open trays when I'm not bottom watering. I also bought the new Burpee silicone trays and I will say Burpee's silicone is thicker, but these will still work fine, just be a little gentle when using tools at the bottom.Amazon has several of these style trays and I bought 4 types. Three are these silicone style - and all three are exactly the same in quality/product (they even stack together), it just color that's different. The fourth style is a transparent hard plastic tray with the same dimensions, but no silicone bottom. It came in a kit I bought. All four starter styles are interchangeable with the kits that have these approx. 5"x7" trays. I like these silicone ones better than the clear hard plastic as they seem to be able to remove the seedling better and they have better drainage than the clear plastic ones which only have one 1/4" hole. (I'm actually not sure how I'm going to remove the ones from the clear plastic as unless they grow thick root systems as the plastic is too hard to push out without bending up the tray.)I have two set-ups for these silicone starters - one is a 4 tray, 96 cell kit and the other is an individual tray, 12 cell kit with domes, bottom trays and some with lights and heating mats. (The individual kits and the 4 tray kits are found on Amazon). Both are great. I use these starter trays with individual 12-cell bottom tray/dome for germination and then after sprouting move the starter tray to the 96 cell/4 starter tray for growing and bottom watering. This allows me to control plants per individual 12 cell tray instead of the larger trays, giving my plants better optimal germination conditions and me small enough crop sizes to not have loads of extra plants. In additional to the interchangeability, I also like that these are reuseable and super easy to clean. That said, it's important to note that these are made for the approx. 10"x14" trays and do not fit evenly in the greenhouse standard 10x20 tray. For my rack size, the 10"x14" trays fit two to a rack rather than one 10x20, increasing my useable space (although the heating mat is still only 10x20 and doesn't catch every cell, but it's still working great for me). If you're looking for the 10x20 standards for larger scale growing you can use the Burpee silicone trays as they fit two to a 10x20 tray, but they don't have domes (at least not yet from what I could find). For me and my household sized needs, these trays are better suited and work great. Happy Gardening!
