I am an amateur gardener and this kit has everything I needed to start my vegetables. It was very easy to use and I didn’t have to guess about how much to water. I am pleased with the system.

Gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because I had to tape the lids the the bottom tray to keep the moisture inside. However, I was able to plant my seeds at the end of February to prepare for Spring outdoor planting. I also purchased grow lights and placed the trays beneath them. Along with the trays and grow lights, I also start my seeds on coconut coit pellets (which I also purchased on Amazon). It's an entirely new set up.It's been 5 days and 40% of my seeds have already sprouted. I only planted seeds in 4 of the 6 trays to determine how well they worked. I'll be starting seeds in the other 2 trays this weekend. Definitely recommend.

I've ordered multiple packs of these tray kits since my first pack. I love that I can adjust the humidity and adjust environment so quickly. My plants are doing great already and that's what we need is a good start before things thaw enough to put them in beds.

These seed starter trays are like a miniature version of the standard 1020 trays, but with all the extras—humidity domes, a watering mat, and sturdy construction. They’re an excellent alternative for small-scale gardening, especially when time is limited.The design makes seed starting easy and efficient without taking up too much space. If you want a compact, well-equipped setup for germination, this is a great choice

This is the time of year, after the holidays are over that I start thinking about spring and my gardens. This kit is perfect for seed planting. It has 24 cells, a dome for humidity, a bottom tray to keep the seedlings watered and a couple of small tools. The only thing you need to add is the soil and seeds. This is a quality set and would make a cute Valentines gift for any plant enthusiast. I'm looking forward to all the possibilities.

The seed starter tray has some clever features and sturdy construction. The thick plastic tray bases feel durable, and the design shows attention to detail. The humidity domes fit neatly inside the trays, ensuring any water runoff is captured back into the trays, which is a nice touch for minimizing mess. The vent covers also pop securely into place, making them easy to use.The watering system, however, is unnecessarily complicated. It includes plastic risers and a cloth for wicking water to the pots, but simply placing the pots directly in the trays and adding water works just as well. On the upside, the risers double as handy tools for removing seedlings from the pots and for packing soil and creating indentations for seeds, which is a thoughtful and functional design feature.The kit includes two toss-in items that are of limited value. The same tiny, nearly useless tools you find in most sets like this. The plant markers are slick and hard to write on, which makes labeling more difficult than it should be.Overall, it’s a solid product with a few flaws, but the sturdy build and clever design elements make it a good choice for starting seedlings.
