Really covers up bad cutouts around the lights. Purchased a home with gaps between the light and the wall, very ugly. This fixes that problem. 100% works.

My contractor tried to spackle the existing holes to fit my 6” lights but the mud just crumbles. These work perfectly to hide the gaps. Just wish they made them less than 8” to give a smaller reveal.

I'm doing a job for a customer and part of the work required removing old can lights and replacing them with the flat style LED lights.After removing, we discovered the old cans were slightly bigger than the new lights even though they were both stated as 6" lights.I found these on Amazon and had them delivered overnight which was great. But the opening wasn't exactly big enough to accommodate the screws for the holding tabs on the new lights.I was able to easily cut the notches required and slip the ring under the screw mounts for the retaining clamps. (see attached photos.)All in all its a nice finished look and it actually one with the light now.Note: I would say these are painta Le only because of the glossy finish.

Was unfitting old potlights to newer LED and the side of the holes were too big for the new lights, standards change over time. Instead drywall repair these were a saviour!

Product arrived quickly and thought it was exactly what I needed until I opened it and tried to use it. The package description said 8inch OD and 6.25 ID which is what I needed. However, the actual product in the package measured 8inch OD and 5.75inch ID which was to small an opening to fit a 6” LED snap in light. These dimensions made it not useable with out cutting and trimming the ring which defeats the purpose. All in all, the actual product didn’t match the description on the website and packaging.

These rings saved ceiling repairs! I used them to replace Progress Lighting Trims & Halogen bulbs with the Halo LED retrofit trims. The LED retrofit trims were a bit smaller and did not cover the drywall cut out. The rings look perfect and do repairs were needed!

We needed these goof rings because our recessed lights are in a vaulted ceiling. None of the lights would sit properly in the specially designed opening for the recessed lighting. Even the springs supplied with the new LED replacement lights did not hold the lights in place. So after 3 years of looking at this ill fitting mess someone designed just what I need. We replaced the springs with a more heavy duty one, and used a zip tie to attach the light to the old light box, to further keep the whole unit together we glued the ring to the LED replacement light. (Thank goodness the lights last 20 years). It looks great! It fits nice and snug to the ceiling. The LED lighting is so much better than the old recessed lighting. So glad I keep looking for the solution to this problem. Also glad my son is such a handy guy.

We couldn’t find the same dimensions for our new LED lights as we had with our old style pot lights. However, these rings worked perfect to cover the gap. They were easy to install. Delivery was quick and are very reasonably priced.
