I have these everywhere on the outside of my home. The ones I'm replacing did not have the seal that these come with. Therefore, they were rusting. These are made correctly and look great! Highly recommend

Fit perfect, price is right. OEM part is stupid expensive and I needed 40 pieces, these work real nice

Very happy with purchase. Have 20yr old recessed lighting and now it looks like new. Easy to install, just pop them in! Made of metal and looks awesome. Recommend.

I have used Halo recessed lights for years in remodel and new home construction. the worst part about Halo lighting is when it's time to be ripped off buying their cheap plastic trim at 20 bucks each. I was so happy when I came across this brand . Exact fit , ten times better quality and made of metal instead of plastic.

Easier to buy new ones at this price than cleaning rusted old ones on an outdoor patio

Delivery was quicker than expected. Solid metal. No sharp edges. Fit Halo 4" pot lights beautifully. It's half of the cost than at t a big box store.I will buy again for my next reno. They are now my new favourite lighting source!

The 4 inch integrated LED can lights in our kitchen (that were supposed to last 30 years) kept burning out, such that we were hiring an electrician every six months to replace two or three of them. Finally I got tired of the hassle and expense and replaced them all, plus added 9 new cans in our family room, with 4 inch receptacles that take R20 bulbs that I can remove and replace myself. For some reason, the electrician that installed these new cans didn't realize that trim was necessary, so I bought these without knowing for sure that they would fit, or that I could install them myself. It was easy to pop them in, so now the cans look finished, and I have no more questions about how many people it takes to change a light bulb (assuming it really wants to change).

These are extremely poor quality ,, very rough finish. Best if you have a high ceiling. For the price though they are a cheap way to go. Wouldnt recoomend unless its at your rental place or something like that

These trim rings are far superior to the ones available at Home Depot or Lowe’s in my opinion for several reasons, and are much less expensive. I included a picture of the TorchStar trim on the left, and the store-bought trim on the right. The store-bought one is very plasticky, and discolors over time, and seems impossible to clean. The Torchstar trim is made of thin metal and has a very smooth surface which will always be able to easily wipe clean. The torch star trim has an opening where the lightbulbs rest that is exactly the right size for the bulbs for these canlights, and provide a good fit. The trim from the store has a wider opening, and leaves a gap between the bulb and the trim. The torch star trim came with a foam gasket which seals nicely against the ceiling, while the ones I got from the store don’t, and some of them don’t snug the ceiling or become wonky overtime. Overall the touch star trim seems much simpler in design- -yet more functional and stays ultra white and looks better. What store-bought ones were $20 each, and look very bad.
