If you want a blade that cuts marble like butter give these a try. They work great on 2cm marble curbs and caps.

These will cut through almost anything, I use them to cut 3in concrete all the time.

So far I've only used it to cut metals but so far I'm impressed by the quality of the cuts and how durable the blades are. They are good for minor grinding. Just way safer in my opinion than the waffer blades that's come apart on you. Highly recommend.
