Quite pleased with this versatile miter box set!The set contains 3 blades for cutting different materials, and I like the "Japanese style" blade that cuts both soft and hard woods.Changing blades is quick and easy, and so far with limited use, the blades have stayed sharp.The guides are true, and as the box itself is plastic and is easily cut, I'll add a strip of thin plywood secured with double-sided tape to extent useful life.I do wish there was a way to store the blades and handle in the box, but the set easily fits into a tote so nothing gets lost.

An ideal smaller box for fine moulding and trim.The japanese blade is so sweet cutting! You can use it on a variety of surfaces and the fine teeth will not scar or mar wood surfaces. The other blades are nice to have but the box and japanese blade are the primary reasons I can think of uses for.

This is an affordable miter kit, it is simple and works well for cutting small pieces of wood as certain angles. The kit has 3 diffferent blades. They range from course for soft wood to a fine toothed blade which could be used to cut soft metals. The blades go on easily by unscrewing the nob screw, inserting your blade of choice e in and screwing back in the nob screw. Just make sure to screw it in until it is flush with the base of the screw. Also of note, the base has a hole, where you could bolt the jig down to a table.

I have a table miter saw. I got this miter box because of the three nice hand saws for precision trimming of wood. The whole package is shown in a few pictures, also the small instruction sheet. The miter box is quite well made and finished. The miter box allows miter 0, 22.5, 45 degree cuts, as well as 45 degree bevel cuts. The three hand saw blades with a good grip handle, as shown in the pictures, are included. The saws with the box allows for fine trimming of small wood pieces, soft metal and PVC. The only cons for this box is the height and width of the box which are only 1 1/2 inch and 2 1/2 inch respectively, so it only allows narrow trim boards and softwood or narrow PVC pipes.

I find this to be a useful tool for small jobs that come up. I have a power miter saw in the work shed for large jobs but this one is light weight and easy to carry around. I've used it to cut 1/4 rounds that I put at the base of some baseboards. NOTE: It is not big enough to cut wood larger than a 2X4 and it only if you o stand it on edge. It being light weight is subject to sliding while sawing so I either used an old car mat to rest it on while working or better, a rubber cushioned mat like the one a cashier stands on. Works OK on small plastic pipe. I haven't had a need to try the metal blade at this time.

If you need a simple pull saw, and you value some versatility over absolute quality, this is probably a good option to go with, in my practice of using it, it did the job of cutting wood quite well, overall the blade was sharp enough that I did not have to struggle with it, and it left a pretty nice surface finish for something that was just rough cut. Handle is well enough designed while being a simple friction fit holding in the blade that I did not feel any slipping, and it was quite easy to position my hand to get a straight cut, though your mileage will vary depending on your level of practice there. Priced at $21 bucks it's nice that this comes with 3 blades, including one for light metal tasks. and a miter box which could be useful in a pinch, and that to me seems like a decent amount of value for and item in this price range.

This review is for the Convixon 4-Piece Miter Box and Saw Set, at a price of $21.99.This set features a plastic miter box, a saw handle and three blades. The miter box has a 2-5/8" (67mm) opening and an inside height of 1-9/16" (40mm). The miter box is constructed as a reinforced hollow shell with wall thicknesses between 1.5 and 2.25mm. The saw handle is comfortable and solid. The blades appear to be of good quality and handle cuts quite well.Overall, I think this will do a great job with smaller projects and molding work.
