I haven't used mine yet. But I have used one similar to this when I worked at a cabinet factory. They work very well.

I’d like to give this saw a two (2) thumbs up review. Although the blade is VERY flexible….so remember it’s a “Pull Saw” so don’t risk bending it with a lot of forward stroke pressure….its cuts beautiful fine cuts! Highly recommend for detail cuts!

These little saws are very handy to have in my tool bucket. This is the third one of these that I've purchased, and I'll probably buy another when I mess this one up...but...The kerf of the blade is very thin. Sometimes this is great for bending the blade into an awkward position for a flush cut, and sometimes it's a pain when the blade binds up and bends.Don't get me wrong, when the saw is new it cuts pretty well. I even used it in an emergency to cut a 2x4 once. It cuts pretty clean with minimal tear out in most material. But even with just intermittent use, these saws only last about 18 to 24 months on a jobsite. For me, the compact size and affordable price make this a must have in my tool kit for occasions when I don't want to go all the way out to my truck to get a corded saw for one cut.

Nice sharp tool but make sure you want thin flexable blade= as advertised......

Professional luthier. Sharp, accurate, thin kerf. Replaced same that lasted 5-6 years heavy use, til teeth started breaking. They don’t sell a replacement blade, but saw is affordable. Cuts on the pull stroke. I saved the blade guard from the old one to keep on the back edge for greater stiffness.

This is an excellent pull saw. The handle is made to replace the blade but separate blades are not available. The price is now over the top. A $7.00 saw costing $26.90 not really value.Irwin products such as this force one to buy Chinese.

Es excelente para cortes pequeños y si no sueles hacer trabajo fino es una excelente opción . Pero si le vas a dar mucho uso es mejor comprar una de tamaño completo ya que el mango de esta es algo pequeño

Super handy tool. I had one for ages, used it most days on the job until one day it disappeared. Finding the exact replacement at a great price was just what I needed.

This is the tool you didn’t realize you actually need occasionally. Great when you need it although it’s rare. This is a nice version to keep in your tool box.

I needed a good saw to cut lots of small wooden dowels. Tried lots of things - miter box back saw, traditional dovetail saw, exact razor saw. This was by far the best. It was fast cutting, small kerf and had very little tear-out as the through-cut completed. Plus, there was this satisfying aggressive rip and hiss to the cut on the pull. The pull design is great, there is no compressive tension on the blade, so there is no threat of buckling with a thin blade, no need of the back.Altogether good. One warning: the tooth points are VERY sharp. I doesn't take much bouncing over metal to smooth them to the point that they float over the wood instead of cutting. I was cutting into a piece held in a vice, got careless at the end and brushed against the vice jaw. The middle 4 inches of the blade is out of commission.

It cuts smoothly, with minimal kerf. On the downside, because the blade is so flexible--almost floppy--it's a bit hard to make a straight cut.The big problem, though, is that the tiny teeth break off easily. One of these saws lasts me about six months before it's useless. And although the blade is designed to be replaceable, Irwin doesn't sell spares. As others have pointed out, you can use Shark Corp 01-2204 blades, but for a buck more you could buy a whole new Irwin saw! That's irritating, but I still prefer to buy replacement blades rather than throw away plastic Irwin handles one after another. Besides, it's easy to keep spare blades on hand--which I strongly recommend. Trust me--unless you cut nothing but balsa wood, you're going to need them. All that said, it's still a good saw for many purposes.

I love this pull saw. I just wish I would have bought one of these years ago. The saw is razor sharp so I do have to be careful when using it. This saw cuts on the pull and not the push so it takes much less effort to cut wood and I have much better control. The cuts are very fine and clean with virtually no splintering.I also use this to cut PVC pipe and boards and it does a beautiful job,Since the blade can be removed it looks like you could buy replacements but Irwin does not sell replacement blades. The blade is the expensive part of the saw so they must figure people would not be that interested in saving a dollar buy buying just the blade. Plus stores are not too keen about stocking replacement parts for anything.
