I’ve been using this SAE Cable for a while now, and overall, I’m quite happy with it. The quality is solid, and the craftsmanship is excellent. It feels really sturdy, and I’ve used it to connect solar panels, batteries, motorcycles, cars, and other equipment without any issues.What I like most is the pure copper conductor with a tinned surface, which makes soldering super easy. The conductivity is great, with low resistance and minimal heat buildup, ensuring efficient and stable power transmission. The connectors fit tightly—I even pulled on them with a lot of force, and they didn’t budge at all, which gives me confidence in their reliability.The outer insulation is thick and durable, with a double-layer PVC sheath that’s wear-resistant and corrosion-proof, so it should last a long time. The only downside is that the cable is a bit stiff. That said, the SAE plug design is very convenient, allowing quick, tool-free connections.I do wish the cable were a bit longer—1 foot is a little short—but other than that, it’s a great product!

I prefer these pigtails for 12 VDC power supply connections. It makes for an easy universal hook up for batteries, diesel heaters and car accessories. I had to cut the conductors due to my mistake with soldering but this gave me the opportunity to verify that was copper and not copper coated aluminum.
