I used this part to fix one of my 2006 Toyota Highlanders brake lights. I had replaced the bulbs but that did not help. I was about to take it in to check the fuses but found out that it might be a different issue, the socket plug. I like that Amazon confirmed that it was for the right car and it fit perfectly. My brakes lights are working. Thank you!

This part sends power into the entire taillamp assembly. I was having issues with my old one making a good connection. I had to use zip ties and bend the power wires to make my brake lights and turn signals work. This new connector solved my problem perfectly. All my lights worked as soon as I hooked it up!

This is an actual OEM replacement factory part, it is not an aftermarket copy. If your having issues with your tail lights, brake lights, turn signals in the rear on your 01-07 Highlander (and likely many other models and years of Toyota vehicles) you can super easily replace this main plug on each side to correct for the degraded original part.All of the power for all of the rear lights come through this single plug. So 9 times out of ten if your bulbs are still good, but yet not working, this is most often the cause.

This is the second time I have purchased this item to replace a socket in my 05 highlander - perfect fit, easy install and the one i bought a few years ago is still going strong as well!

Hard to find the missing part for a 15 years old car. This is the original part, exactly same.

Used for 2005 highlander. Like someone else mentioned, I had also dropped it in between the light case and metal frame. I eventually took it out but you must remove the taillight and with a sort of hook device reace down and puul it up.
