I got this when the HDMI plug in my graphics card (RTX 3080) got loose and started having problems. The graphics card had unused DP connectors, so I'm using this device between the DP connector on the graphics card and my HDMI monitor. No problems.

I needed to connect an HDMI cable to a Display Port on my docking station. This worked like a charm. The display quality is crisp and clean so I will say there is no degradation of the signal from the adapter.

The product works with dell Optiplex 700. The only issue is the press and release button. I pressed hard to make sure the pin in down. The mechanism of the press doesn't feel it's doing anything. I have to make sure the pin moves before connecting.

not well madeplugged it in, and first time I removed it from the port, the housing broke - threw it in the bin as past the return window

The adapters do not work at all. They are faulty. Complete rip off.
