I had the snap-on version of these before, they were awesome but they grew legs and walked away.. these on the other hand... are not snap-on.. (obviously) they are stiff on the hinge, and the wire stripping holes are oval. The crimper has a square sharp edge and it sheers through connectors. I bought them for the crimper, but not sure if they'll make it to my tool bag or not.All in all, not really worth the money. Buy once, cry once.. ill never learn. Lol

I love this crimping tool. It is nice and compact and does exactly what is supposed to do. Way easier to get in tight areas than the normal stripper/crimper tools.

A little smaller than I expected but not by much otherwise they should work exactly as advertised the price as well within the range and they were delivered very quickly

Just tried these out on a variety of wire sizes and terminals. They seem to work fine for #16 and smaller wires - solid and stranded - and terminals. I also tried some #12 solid and stranded along with insulated and non-insulated terminals. While I was able to strip and make crimps, it required excessive effort and double crimps due to the short handles and the thinness of the pliers. The results were not exactly what I'd call textbook. Anyone needing to crimp or strip #12 wire on anything but an occasional basis should look elsewhere.

Someone might ask, how a handy kind of person could manage through countless moves over many years, without a wire stripper when changing out light fixtures! All this time, I resisted buying one of these gadgets. Every time I had to change a light fixture was supposed to be the last time I'd have to do it. Now, many houses later, I finally invested in this one and it is a fantastic tool! Using an exacto knife just doesn't"cut it" anymore! This works on a variety of wire sizes for stripping and also cutting. How did I ever do without it? Great price too.

12/22/24 - I have been looking for a small crimper, like this for years. Where as, the crimper is located in the front of the jaw. This crimper is very well made and has some weight to it. I use it on 16/14 terminal connectors. I will be ordering an extra one due to the quality and ease of use.

I've tried a few pairs and these are by far the best ones for the money. The crimpers at the front of the pliers are perfect!!

By the picture thought tool was larger - disappointed with actual tool - will work only for smaller diameter wire stripping cutting
