Nice made tool and cheap, But With the APMT 1135 inserts i used the geometry was all wrong, There is no clearance for the back side of the insert and it rubs and makes a mess of the surface. Maybe there is an insert that will work but the standard 1135 does not. There is just no clearance and if they have a wiper edge it that rubs as well. I used my carbide grinder to grind clearance into the inserts and it works good now but unless you have a carbide grinder this tool will not work.

This arbor or bit-holder would have been good if it wasn't for a geometrical issue. The tip of the cutting bit can be used to chamfer down to a depth of perhaps 1-1.5mm or so, but if you continue going deeper, the body or backside of the arbor will interfere with your work piece. This happens as you use more and more of the available long-side of the bit, i.e. going higher and higher to the center of the bit.I will make an attempt to machine the arbor to shave off some material so that the arbor doesn't scrape against the work piece. If the arbor is hardened, I might try using a grinder.UPDATE APRIL 2022: After a new look at this, it turns out that it is not the body of the tool that interferes with the workpiece, it is the backside "heel" of the carbide insert. And yes, I am using APMT1135 insert. Thus, nothing can be done to fix it, the problem seems to lie in the geometry of the seat of the tool or possibly that the described circle of this tool is just too small.
