These are mage in China and will strip if you tighten them to much. Be careful if you are using a drill to apply.

They are certainty stainless steel. Variable sizes, well made, & great finish. We'll see how well these will hold up. Ordered this 450PCS Self Tapping Screws for Metal to round out my parts kit. Lots of self tapping screws... was a little concerned that the heads would not drill well based on the thin metal and angle of the self tapping heads but the two tests I ran with them worked unexpectedly well. These do not fit the standard 1/4 inch bit driver but did fit in a 5/16 and stayed put which indicate they were magnetic. It would be nice if the listing included the size of the heads... perhaps they are metric but I only had SAE drivers to test them with. These screws do not have a Phillips slot either, only the hex head for driving. Overall 4 stars as the kit is certainly usable but perhaps priced a little bit high at list and should include a drive or at least a measurement.

There are two variations in this listing, I’m reviewing the silver toned set with 450 pieces.This is a good value for a good quality, larger quantity of 450 set of self starting metal hardware fasteners in a variety of 10 different common sizes. There are 40-50 each of the 10 different sizes for a total of 450 included. The smallest, shortest one is a #8 x ½” (40 included) and the largest, longest one is a #10 x 1 ¼” (40 included).The fasteners are made of 410 stainless steel with corrosion and rust resistance. They are in a self starting style, threaded and in a hex shape top style. Note that this is not a Phillips or standard style, but a hex shaped top style. So be sure it’s the right shape and style for your use and your hardware and powered devices.They come in a nice plastic sealed, clear hard plastic sectioned storage case that’s well labeled. The case is sturdy, well sectioned and opens and closes easily and securely. One thing to note about this set vs others I’ve seen, is that the storage case is completely full vs half or quarter filled or less. They put as many as they could in the case and it’s well filled for the size vs under-filled. You’ll notice it when you pick up the case, it has some weight to it and is very full.Be sure and check the listing pictures and details to be sure the right sizes for your use and that they are the right style, shape for your use.
