This is a good-looking fireplace. Shipped fast and well protected in box. It is much smaller than I thought it was going to be. It took my handyman son (who is a pro putting things together) over 4 hours to assemble this unit. He was obviously struggling. The hinged top was especially difficult. The flame is also on the small side and, as said by someone else, looks cheap. However, the unit is attractive and heats well. I hope to put a much better heater/flame box in a year or two.

The fireplace is slightly different than I expected, but not in a bad way. The brick is a printed picture and not texture, but that actually works perfectly for my needs. I plan to tile over that area. The brick doesn't look bad at all though so you can totally leave it and have the unit look amazing. The flip top does open wide than I thought, but that makes accessing contents easier. The heat output is wonderful and when it is only turned on in light mode (no heat) it's just the right amount. The build was easy enough for my husband to do the full build himself in under an hour. We love it under our bedroom tv.

Got in time for cold weather. Have it in my kids playroom. House is drafty and this gives off enough heat to help keep the kids comfortable. I like the extra hidden compartment on mantle..very convenient to store remotes. Also, safe to touch, so I don't have to worry about them getting hurt. Overall very happy with appearance and functionality. Looks great decorated for christmas too.

So, I'm a little disappointed that the "brick" is basically a sticker. It's not 3d or embossed.But the wood looks great. It's heavy and feels high quality. The storage area is great, storing inside and on top is obviously cumbersome.The heater is very nice and warm. Remote adds to convenience.It can be used with no heat with fireplace light on for a nice nightlight or holiday or cozy mood.Not very realistic looking fire.Overall I give it 4 stars. A lot of good here...But the "brick" sticker doesn't match up in one spot, making it look cheap.Heat is great but fire looks pretty fake.For the price, I'd say it's a good buy.

We use the fireplace for supplemental heating in our living room and we love the look! It provides great heat output, warmth and ambiance. It is easy to move the fireplace from room to room because it is not too heavy.

This is a well-made fireplace. We like the flip-top feature of the mantel. It's a nice addition to have a little hidden storage. The mantel is a nice thick natural wood tone. The brick is faux brick, of course, but has a realistic look. Living in Florida we have not had to use the fireplace heat as of yet, but the flames are realistic-looking and it's nice to be able to have the flames on without the heat. We did, of course, try the heating aspect of the fireplace when we got it and it does put out very good heat. The assembly took one person about 45 minutes to assemble. The directions were clear. This fireplace is a little slimmer in design than some we had looked at, but it works well for our space. Overall, the only thing I would change is the height of the fireplace. It would be nice if it were or had the option to order one taller by maybe 6 inches. That's just my opinion based on the fact we have 10-foot ceilings, so it makes the fireplace look a little short. We are still happy with the purchase and would recommend this fireplace for sure. The feature going for it is definitely the flip-top lid with storage.

Beautiful piece! Easy to build; mostly alone, but will need a second set of hands to put the top together! Heavy duty and built to last- definitely worth the price! The fireplace features a nice flame display and temperature controlled heat output. Minimal noise for an electric heater. Shipping box is well protected and very heavy.
