This is a comprehensive set of both imperial and metric threads. Unlike most of the other sets, this came in a sturdy case.

I have had the wall mounted thread checkers but whenever I need to check something on a work piece I struggle. With this I can take any of the checkers straight to my part and check the threads. Super useful and way better than the ones that are mounted to the boards.

I am very satisfied with this set. Tolerances are good. Anodization is nice. Each gauge is individually labeled. Only complaints are:- There's no way to tell which side of the case should be face up when opening it. But I fixed that by labeling which side goes up on the exterior of the case.- The foam on the top of the case is not held in by anything. But this is easily fixed with some glue.- The layout of the gauges could be better. They *mostly* go from smallest to largest, but why are 6-40, 6-32, and 8-32 just kind of randomly placed there? Why are M24-2.0 and M24-3.0 separate from the rest of the metric gauges? Small nitpick, but figured I'd mention it.Threads are precise enough that one and only one will fit even the most ambiguous of threaded holes. I've never had a sloppily threaded hole that fits, say, both M6x1.0 and 1/4"-28 (which are normally quite close).And the fact that it comes as individual parts in a carrying case makes it much more convenient than the sets that all come attached through a wire that passes through a hole in all of them.

Was on the fence about this item, but I needed it to verify some parts for an upgrade job that I wanted to do at home.The fit and finish is quite nice, very well done.Can easily tell which way the case is up or down by the way the orange latches are orientated. Which can easily be changed, if one so wanted, by reversing the foams in the interior.This kit as well worth the black friday price, and so much better than the plastic card like tools that are available.My only suggestion would be to have recessed 'labels' cut into the sides, coloured in the same white as the now tampo labels that are on the sides of each piece.Other than that, quite happy that I bought it.

If you have an assortment of nuts and bolts of all sizes like I do, you will appreciate having a way to make certain they are properly sorted. If you sometimes need a bolt or nut and aren't certain of the size and thread count, you will appreciate having a way to identify exactly what you need instead of carting the entire assembly to the hardware store. This is one of the nicest assemblages of most nuts and bolt sizes you will ever need. I especially appreciate that you can measure one nut or bolt at a time by simply using one gauge at a time and then returning it to its place in the handy and sturdy box.
