Shows that the thread runs the length of the bolt but there is 3/4” or so gap in between the threads

I planned to use hangar bolts to trace bolt pattern onto wood frames in ym van built. I couldnt use these as these were too long and the tracings were not going well. I believe if you need this for hanging -these should work well as they are pretty solid.

Machine threads do not go all the way to the lag threads. Wish they did.
