I use a mix of white LED and colored LED grow lights for my garden shelves. I grow micro tomatoes, herbs, peppers, lettuce, along with solely decorative plants. Usually the regular white light LEDs are enough light, with the natural light I have available. But for the best production of the blooming and fruiting plants the grow lights give a stronger mix of the light colors plants want for proper growth.I’m liking both the output of this model, and the convenience of a light weight and easy to hang unit. They have greater output, yet weigh a lot less than my older units.I have my lights set to a timer, so they pretty much take care of themselves after they are installed.Each light can also be independently controlled at the unit.

This is a really great grow light. Super easy to use right out of the box. Just plug in and hang (comes with hardware). It's surprisingly very light-weight as well. I particularly like the long light length and that I can attach more lights to make this extend the full length of the greenhouse for more growing areas. The regular grow light looks about perfect for simulating daylight, and there's a red / blue light that I understand helps the plant development at various stages. I can't attest to that yet - will know better over the course of a couple seasons. But the quality of the light is good value for the price and I will definitely be buying more. I can already see this as one of my main types of light used since it covers a good-sized area. And again, really like how light-weight it is but also doesn't feel cheap. Would well recommend.
