  • 🐳【Sturdy】The aquarium chiller is made of high-quality plastic with corrosion-resistant titanium coils, which are strong, wear-resistant, anti-aging, and not easy to break, ensuring a long service life.
  • 🐳【Convenient and Intelligent】The front air inlet and rear air outlet provide good air circulation for the chiller. In addition, you can add filters externally to realize dual circulation and improve the water quality of your fish tank. Its built-in powerful cooling fan provides better cooling effect. You can customize the connection without distinguishing between water inlet and outlet.
  • 🐳【Temperature Control】The aquarium chiller is controlled by a microcomputer temperature control system. You can accurately set the temperature from 0-38 degrees according to the actual environment temperature to create a healthy environment for your aquarium plants and animals.
  • 🐳【Carefully Designed】The aquarium chiller utilizes non-polluting r134a refrigerant for the most efficient exchange of cold. It sets the ideal water temperature for a 42-gallon fish tank between 22-26°C/71.6-78°F. The less water, the lower the temperature.
  • 🐳【Easy to Carry&Clean】Its lightweight(29.05lbs), compact size(7.87*13.38*12.59in) and recessed carrying handle at the bottom make it easy for you to move. Its smooth surface allows you to easily wipe the dust or stains with a wet towel. Description

An aquarium water chiller is crucial in the hot summer when aquaponic plants and animals have difficulty surviving. This aquarium water chiller will create a low-noise, energy-saving, and efficient refrigeration process for you. It allows you to control the required temperature range as required to bring more dissolved oxygen and provide a high-quality, cool and comfortable living environment. Use this aquarium water chiller to let your fish swing in the coolness and get rid of the heat and humidity from now on!

Details

Anti-slip Feet: It has four non-slip feet on the bottom, so it can be placed firmly without shifting or shaking. It also prevents your floor or desktop from being scratched.

LED Display: It is equipped with an LED display, which is convenient for you to monitor and adjust the temperature more intuitively.

Application

The aquarium water chiller with an anti-corrosion titanium tube can be widely used in seawater and freshwater aquaponic systems, such as aquaculture, crystal shrimp culture, jellyfish culture, and coral culture. It is applicable to water tanks with a water capacity of less than 42gal.

I am not sure why it leaks on the back where the once tube is but it does. I turned it off and put it away as I felt like It was a fire risk due to a leak. If only it did not leak as it worked so great at cooling the water.

Keeps my tank nice cool even outside during the summer. Once it gets the tank cool it doesn’t have to run for very long. Seems to works efficiently. You have to buy your own pump though.

It actually works pretty well keeps it about 9-10 deg. Cooler the only downside is they need to explain everything way better. The seller can help you out,

I've been using this for my axolotl for 5 months now in a 20 gallon aquarium and it has not failed or given me any issues. Included in the package is the chiller with a non-removable temperature probe, a power cord, a single 2 meter long hose (which you will need to cut in half to get 2 hoses for an inlet and outlet), 2 squeeze hose clamps, a submersible water pump (which for some reason is not shown in any of the pictures but appears to be a $15 Senzeal pump), and an adapter to connect the pump to the inlet hose.Pros:This chiller is great if you're on a budget. The fan on the chiller is not terribly loud; I have the aquarium set up in my school classroom and it is quiet enough that I don't need to turn it off during tests/quiet time. There's a single and audible click when the circuit closes/opens to turn on/off the fan, but that's also not too loud. The chiller keeps the temp of my aquarium within a certain range and my axolotl is happy with the water's temperature. The chiller has been running 24/7 for months on end without failure or error. The chiller is powerful enough to cool the water to the point that it freezes it, although I found this out through human error on my part because I initially did not get the water to pump properly through hoses connected to the chiller, so the water sat stagnant in the lines. The temperature in the tank obviously did not fall, which fooled the chiller into thinking the water wasn't getting cold and continued cooling until water in the hoses partially froze. Once I corrected this mistake, the chiller always stopped cooling when the aquarium water reached the designated temperature (also make sure that the temperature probe is secured inside the tank and won't slip out of the water, otherwise you'll have the same problem).Cons:The instruction manual is written completely in Chinese, but it's not so difficult to figure out what to do (see next section for instructions). The chiller's temperature display is not accurate and is a few degrees Celsius off, so you will need a thermometer to find the correct temperature (the translated instruction manual seems to indicate this as well). However, it properly keeps the temperature within a range, you just need to find what the error is. For my unit, when the temp rises 2C above the set temperature, the refrigeration turns on and cools the water, then it turns off once it reaches the set temperature. For example, my chiller's error is that it displays a temperature that is 2 degrees C lower than the actual temperature of the water, so if I want a temperature range of 18 - 20C in the tank, I keep the chiller set to 16C. The pump that is included is also not very powerful. I placed the pump and outlet hose at the top of the aquarium but on opposite sides of the aquarium so as to not disturb the axolotl, but the pump is not strong enough to pump water through the whole system if air is introduced, so you'll need to get a siphon running on set up (which I do by taking out the outlet hose and lowering below the aquarium's level while the water is captured in a jar. Once the water is flowing, I put the outlet hose back into the aquarium and it flows without issue). It's a minor annoyance having to take out the hose to create a siphon every time I need to change the aquarium water since the water level falls below the pump, but it only takes about 5 seconds to fix and is only required whenever I change the water, which is once a week. You could definitely supply a more powerful pump to not have to deal with this, but I take the cheaper option. The pump also has 4 small suction cups on its backside that are removable and have a strong suction, but can easily pop off from the pump because they adhere to the aquarium walls better than they adhere to the pump itself.Instructions for use: The instruction manual only states how to operate the chiller but not how to set it up in an aquarium, so if you don't know how to set up a chiller, you will need to watch a video on the internet. It doesn't appear to matter which side of the chiller you pick as the inlet/outlet when running the hoses from the aquarium to the chiller. To operate the chiller after all hose lines have been connected to the chiller and secured inside the tank (don't let them float freely or the outlet will fall out and drain the aquarium water outside the tank), the temperature probe is secured in the water, and the water is flowing through the chiller: turn on the chiller using the power button at the back. Click the "SET" button and the temperature display should begin flashing (you may need to hold the button). Then click the up or down arrow keys to select the desired temperature (there is a discrepancy between the displayed temperature and actual temperature, see "Cons" section above). After the desired temperature is selected, hit the set button again. The numbers should stop flashing, and you should hear the chiller click and the fan will turn on to let you know it is working. I recommend as a test to initially set the temperature very low, then adjust it to the desired temperature after the chiller has started cooling. I say this because my chiller did not start cooling until I had set the temperature lower than I needed (maybe my water's un-chilled temperature was within range of the chiller's temperature and therefore it computed that it did not need to activate yet?). I think there's a way to adjust the range of temperature after a target is set, but I have not looked into it because a 2C range in temperature is fine for my axolotl (also I can't read Chinese).Overall, I'd recommend this chiller if you need a cheap but cost-effective aquarium chiller and don't mind putting in work to get it functioning. I'd give it 5 stars if the instruction manual was in English.

Comes with no instructions. Everything is in chinese. Fan on the compressor doesn’t work. And as soon as it was plugged in it had an error code
