This transformer caught my eye as I build and experiment with radio transceiver kits. Having 24v to power your amplifier and have the ability to step that down to 12v for the rest of the circuit is awesome! I made some spade terminals to attach to the transformer and plug it in to one of my radios and it worked like a charm! This item feels as heavy as you would expect a transformer of this style and current rating to be. It has mounting flanges that I will use to mount this in a more permanent power supply build. All in all it is worth every penny!

An ideal replacement transformer for my furnace control system. I burned out my original, so this was perfect for me. In fact, this transformer is a bit larger and appears more durable than my original. As my title says, if you're looking at this, you know what you need. I needed to supply control voltages for 2 thermostats,2 motorized zone valves, gas valve, and recirculating pump relay.
