I wouldn't rely on these alone. but they are great a final filter and water trap right before your air tool. I've used these for many years and they do a good job.

My line got a bunch of dirt and water in it. It didn't make it to the paint gun. This saved the paint job. Easy to install. Well made. Heavy duty and durable even though it's a disposable unit.

Is a low grade plastic, yes you can get them cheap but I wouldn't count on their performance. I have three water separators, one of these, then another Motor Gaurd unit at the coupler.
