I used this valve to replaced the old leaky valve on my 1985 Craftsman 2hp compressor. This effective, inexpensive valve screwed right in easily, does not leak, and is very much easier to open than the old wingnut original was even when new. Hopefuly this drain valve will get me (or the next owner) through the next 40 years of air compressor use. :-)
