Do not buy. After 20 years my toilet bolts started deteriorating and causing black particles in the tank that drained to the bowl every flush. I replaced them with these and after only 2 years they are worse than originals that lasted 20 years. Very dissapointed.

This is not the cheap skinny set of bolts you find at the big box stores. This is a solid set of bolts that fills the holes on the tank and doesn't leak. Easy to install and no leaks.

These are good quality. They are more expensive than other similar universal bolts, but the quality is much better with these. I ordered a cheaper set along with these to compare them to decide which one to install and the washer quality is obviously much better. I also like the type of screws this has. I think it will last longer than the cheap stuff. My new house is only a little over 1 year old and I guess the builder had installed a cheaper set. The chlorine in the water quickly deteriorated the washers to a point where they'd sort of melted into a paste. I think it will be a long time before I have to replace these new ones. I will no longer use any bleach tabs in my tank though. I'd used a couple at some point although not consistently. I think it's best to only apply cleaners in the toilet bowl instead of the tank. Lesson learned!

having had many issues with the garbage bolts (actually its always the gaskets) from local hardware stores, I finally broke down and spent a little extra on these. no regrets, the gaskets and clamping design are well worth the extra few dollars to have no headaches or worries.

I bought this product for the expected quality of materials, and I was not disappointed. The materials themselves are made of high-quality stainless steel and brass. This material combo should help to eliminate the rusting of the bolt heads inside the toilet tank in the future.Installation was made especially easy because of the long, extended nuts that hold the tank to the toilet. I was able to replace the old rusty nuts and bolts with this new kit in just a matter of a few minutes. They worked so well, I ended up buying another kit for all of the other toilets in my house. Highly recommended.

Glad I found these. I'm tired of the standard toilet tank kit. The flat washers do ok for a while but seem to deteriorate too quickly. I've not had these long but the quality of materials and especially the rounded inside washer give me more confidence in them lasting. Installation was very easy. I found in the past that the wing nut are not quite as reliable. If you happen to sit and occasionally hit your back against the tank, they will work loose. The style of nuts used on the underside are easy enough to finger tighten. I would recommend considering this product.

These are easy to install, seal well and are brass coated stainless so hopefully will be much more durable. Not sure if I will to remember to write a followup in 10 years, but looking promising.

Perfect fit. Quality product. Works as indicated in the product description.Have an American Standard toilet that started to leak from the bolts and deteriorating rubber washers. Decided if I was going to take it apart that I would replace all the internal components. Purchased a name brand replacement kit. The bolts with the kit were basically the bolt, rubber flat washer, washer, and nut. Installed OK but difficult to get the tank bolts installed. After about a week, the tank was leaking again from the bolts.Purchased this set of bolts and not only was installation easier, but after 2 months there are no leaks. Doing research on bolt leaks led me to make one change to the directions. Put a rubber washer everywhere there was contact with porcelain. See picture.Inside the tank use the cone rubber washer. Then on the bottom of the tank use another rubber flat washer, washer and nut to secure this to the tank. Tighten to compress rubber washers but be careful not to over tighten. With this done it is then very easy to mount the tank to the toilet as nothing is moving. Use another rubber washer, washer and the long nut under the toilet lip to secure tank to the toilet. Long nuts make it so easy to access and tighten compared to just having a small nut.All in all, worth the money and a great solution.
