Pretty easy to use. Just plug it in and you're off to the races. It has a super crisp display with multiple colors which makes it really easy to understand what you're looking at. I tested the readouts for temperature and RH against another device and they were spot on. I have not had a gas leak/elevated reading so I cannot speak to what would happen if it read a dangerous level. Overall a solid well designed product.

I purchased this for my son who just bought his first home. I have several devices in my home that measure what this device does. I plugged it in at our house and compared reading. All were very close (within a point or two) from the devices I already have. I am comfortable that this devices will alert him if things in his new home get into problematic ranges.

I'm very happy with this product as soon as you plug it in it starts talking to you and tells you that it's operating, the alarm is very loud if there is a leak and it displays all the information right on the screen which is so nice.

I can't speak to the accuracy of the detection as I had no issues in my house, but the other readings, such as temperature humidity were dead on accurate, so I am thinking this is going to be pretty reliable. The display is very cool, and the lights on the device are bright and easy to see. I was impressed from the moment I plugged it in. The manufacturer says it has fault detection, which should alert you if it's own sensors stop working.

This detector is nicely designed and very easy to setup. However, I was disappointed after examining the tiny instruction manual that came with it.The manual states that the device uses and electrochemical sensor, and that's fine. Electrochemical CO2 sensors typically have a lifespan of 2-3 years. But to know when that time is up (and when you should replace the unit) you need to know the date of manufacture. That is not provided anywhere in the packaging or literature, and is not stamped on the product, which is customary with this type of product.The manual states: "Through proper installation and use, your carbon monoxide alarm will provide you with years of reliable service." How many years? There's no way to know with this product. If the item you buy has been sitting on a shelf for a long time, it could be expired by the time you receive it.CO2 and gas sensors are too important to our safety to not know when they stop working.
