I got this copper mesh to help keep mice out of my chicken coop.It prevents the mice from either entering or leaving. The mesh itself is very well constructed and it works great. I also use it around my garden bed to keep slugs out they hate copper wire.

The goods arrived damaged and in poor quality, some of them rusted. Extremely disappointed, really not recommended.

This mesh is very thin gauge, which makes it easy to work with and to cut to size. We didn't pick this up for rodent proofing, though I can see how this would work well for that (so does steel wool, by the way, which I've used for rodent proofing gaps in roofing dormers in the past with great success). Instead, I'm hoping that this will work to keep the slugs out of my garden. We grow a lot of salad-type greens every year, and every year, the slugs try their darndest to eat it all. I get it, it's a garden and we have to provide nature her share, but we have an ungodly number of slugs in our garden, so they're taking more than nature's fair share. We've done organic slug bait in the past which worked okay, but once it gets wet or rains, they turn into nasty little moldy pellets.As an experiment, I plan on putting this around the perimeter of one of my smaller garden beds to see if it repels the slugs enough to save my greens, and then I'm going to put some around some of my lettuces to see if that's more effective than creating a barrier around the bed itself. Will report back on efficacy, but for now, until or unless this proves to be totally ineffective, it seems like a great product to me!

I got this copper mesh to help keep mice and rodents out of my house and chicken coop. I love how I can stuff this in multiple hidey holes and prevent the mice from either entering or leaving. The mesh itself is very well constructed and it works super easily and has helped me cut down on my rodent issues.

GREAT copper wire mesh for many uses. Scissors is a bit useless, but I love the copper wire ribbon.
