I got these to replace a 20+ year old expander where the rubber rings that hold it together have rotted away, making it useless. The 3 expanders seem to be of good quality but I did notice that the end where the nut sets in that the bolt uses to expand the device noes not set in as solidly as the older one I am replacing but I have no doubt that it will hold tightly enough to do the job. The case does a good job of storing them and they even come with a replacement set of rings which is a good thing as well.
