Out of the box they are sharp and seem well made. Over time they wear rather quickly. I think they will hold up much better on software woods. I would not recommend using them for oak, hickory, or other hardwoods.

Making some shaker cabinet doors out of pine, cuts clean and fits well. Can't comment on wear life, but they are holding sharpness so far.

I am a bit of a novice when it comes to using a router but I was able to make my own tongue and groove boards to use as a top for a table I built. I got nice clean cuts that fit together perfectly. The bits are solidly built and come with additional knives to make larger grooves. I used 1”x8” lumber and in just a few minutes had was able to glue and clamp them to make a wide table top.

I tried these bits out on some 3/4" thick Red Oak I had laying around and used the bits in my table router. I tested working in the hard wood in 3 passes and they bits cut clean and the fit was perfect. Now the true test is time and how long they will stay sharp before starting to tear and burn the wood fibers. But for now I am impressed. Much better than some other economy bits that I have purchased.I also like the color of the bits. I have some that are a grey color and it is hard to see the bit when cutting. The color stands out on these making it easy to see the bit as you make your cut. This is a pretty good bit set for the money that will allow you to get your tongue and groove project done.

These bits are solid and well made. They are properly machined and very nice quality for a home shop. For my use, they will probably last a lifetime. Them seem of equal quality to commercial bits I’ve seen and used elsewhere. Time will tell, but I don’t see any reason that these will not hold up.

I just recently finished a set of cabinet doors and I wish I'd had these to work with. I don't know how they'll do over the long haul, but in my tests, they gave a nice clean cut and the pieces fit well. I use a Bosch 1617EVS table mounted router and with the 1/2" shafts, they spun up very smoothly.Given the size and weight of the bit, I didn't feel comfortable spinning up the larger bit faster than about 10-12k, but even still, it cut through my pine boards with little trouble. Perhaps if I'd had a 5hp router, I could have done it in one pass, but I wanted the cleanest cut possible, so I did it in two.I'm never happy unless I have something to complain about, so let me rant about the boxes they come in. Who designed these and what were the thinking? I found it impossible to get them open and ultimately had to slide down one side of each. They're stiff enough to get them closed again, but what a pain.

The three bits came packaged in three plastic router bit boxes stuffed into a bag, with a small card illustrating the key dimensions of the bits, typical for these types of budget router bits. In addition to the bits, there were two shim washers provided in order to adjust the fit and heights of the bits. The overall construction of the bits is very good, better than typical budget router bits I have used in the past and the carbide tips out of box are very sharp. Got it for some cabinet door project coming up, but haven't exhaustively tried them yet. For me, 1/2 shank is a must for bits like these, especially the raised panel bit. For the price, if they can finish one project of all kitchen cabinet doors, you would have got the its worth. From the look and feel, I am quite confident about it.
