Difficult to put on so it is difficult to remove as well so you will not get worried that it might fell off. I just used permanent marker and my name stays there since day 1.

It does what it's suppose to do. I have to wrestle with it a little bit to insert the securement insert.

Decent enough for the price point, however the "engravable plate" is plastic and is extremely low quality. The listing had lead me to believe that it was metal however it is a cheapo plastic insert that is painted to look metal that you scratch off similarly to a scratch ticket. I doubt that it will hold up so I am using the write-on insert that came with it and used a permanent marker.

Just follow directions, the tag holder extensions will click into place have to use a little force and they lock into place. I am getting the gray plate engraved with my name at a local trophy shop. I may use a drop of super glue to hold the name tag in place after engraving. Maybe a little over board just to be safe.

As littman products go this one does not fail. The tag is sturdy but not in the way. Good way to keep track of your stethoscope as we all know they tend to grow legs and walk away.
