These are SMALL wipes that promote adhesion of several 3M automotive adhesives. They work by laying down a coating of rubber and acrylic polymer, that creates a permanent bonding surface where applied.However, the wipes are infused with several volatile chemicals that are known or suspected carcinogens, including Ethylbenzene, Toluene, and Xylene, and should be used with PLENTY OF VENTILATION AND A RESPIRATOR.They are also quite expensive, at over $2 per wipe.

Having trouble getting decals or other double sided tape items to stick and stay put? These 3m pads are perfectly sized to not be too much and makes items stick as intended and stay where you put them. Be careful when using this as once your item is stuck its not coming off for repositing.

I've used Very High Bond (VHB) tape for years - it is great stuff. I recently installed LEDs on our new Muzata lighted deck rails, which are aluminum. Aluminum can be a little tricky with adhesives. The LEDs have a VHB backing. Of further concern is our desert heat, or any heat/cool cycle that might affect a poorly bonded adhesive. We need these 25 meters of LEDs to stay put!Using this primer cleans and primes the aluminum surface. The VHB tape then bonds aggressively - no sagging or "popping loose" before the adhesive fully sets. Makes installing the LED segments fast and reliably secure. Well worth the cost and, in my opinion, a must have when bonding to metal - especially aluminum.The packets each contain a segment of thin sponge-like material soaked with primer. Use nitrile gloves - it is a strong chemical. The sponge holds together well making application a breeze.

I had trouble getting vehicle emblems to stick until i used this product. Now i use it for all of my add ons. Will always use this after an alcohol cleaning of the paint.

The price is way too high for what you get however I have purchased this product twice and can't recommend it enough. It's made quite the difference on simple things from installing something on my dash with two-way tape or helping something to adhere to plastic that normally wouldn't stick this stuff makes all the difference. Word to the wise do not use it under paint just with adhesive surfaces

The stuff works! When you put the promoter on it drys to a slight haze. Once it is dry you can apply your piece that has the 3M adhesive tape and it is never coming off. This stuff is unforgiving as once you stick your piece into place there is no adjustment, so you have to get it right the first time. Use gloves to apply the promoter as it is a bit sticky itself and your accessory will stick to your fingers. It WILL come off using alcohol immediately, though. The price works out to about $2 per packet but considering the price of whatever you are installing using this promoter is good insurance against your accessory ever falling off.
