I brought this meter because I suspected I had low ph levels in soil I had purchased for raised garden beds. The meter measured each bed the same, including ones I had just filled and hadn't added anything too. I took the meter outside of the greenhouse into the garden and measured the rows of onions and potatoes. Both measured spot on and in the green. I had just watered the day before in the greenhouse and the meter showed wet. Outside it was in the green. The one review saying the meter was inaccurate was measuring water. The instructions say not to do that. Don't measure rock either.

Have had a few days, seems to work so far. A bit flimsy in areas but worth the low price. What they don't tell you is that the soil needs to be wet for any measurements to work. 4 stars because I almost never give 5.
