For whatever stupid reason the product the end or the camera is slides in and out and twists the first one that I had broke it broke the wire connection to the camera stupid if you take epoxy metal epoxy put it on the end in the crack where it would slide in and out clean it off and make it look nice let it dry then it works and it's durable and it won't break if you do this it's a five Star product if you don't it's a two only two because the visual is clear but the design is crap

Product support was very good at getting me the proper instruction for starting things up. Conceptually, the item is good but the light of the otoscope doesn't give enough illumination to get a good picture of the ear drum. Even when cranked up all the way. It's enough light to see the wax, but as a doc I don't recommend you take out your own wax.In truth, I was looking for an item to recommend to patients so they could take pictures of eardrums, useful for telemedicine.

I was disappointed that the product didn't work. But I was very impressed by the way I was able to send it back for a exchange or a refund. Fyi it is free to send back.

I bought this item to use for repairing small complex mechanical items. My first use was repairing an old SLR camera; this item worked very well for getting to complex hard to see places. Good features include: 1. Very small diameter head, 2. Integral white ring light, 3. Good resolution, 4. Relatively short focus length. 5. USB compatibility for data and power (no need to recharge batteries) 5. Able to use my Windows PC's built-in Camera app I don't know about ear wax removal, but this camera is very handy for inspecting small hard to see areas.

The Otoscope is being advertised to work with android cell phones. When I got it, it would not work as the image is blurry and the software that is provided, does not provide clear images. I have contacted the manufacturers on several occasions and they suggested a few other software packages that I had to try out, like I have to test their product and provide them with the results, but to no avail. It still does not work and I have wasted my money. I was going to buy another Otoscope and also considered buying one of their microscopes, but after my experience with the first Otoscope, I will not buy any product from them again and if anybody thinks about purchasing one, think one hundred times before doing it.

Works great easy to set up but picture quality isn't the best

Like the picture quality of the camera. Need to be careful when using and not go too deep.

I bought this otoscope for checking out my ears. I have an Android phone and the instructions indicated I should download one of 2 apps. One app opened, but wouldn't do anything. The other worked, but somehow affected my phone, which became very sluggish until the app was uninstalled (malware maybe?). I had great success plugging the camera into a laptop running Linux with the Cheese app. It worked well, but I've had to make a couple of adjustments to the device. The camera wand is cylindrical with 2 flat sides. There is no indicator to determine whether the camera view is upside down or not. I placed a drop of glue on top of the wand to indicate which direction was up. The second adjustment was gluing the metal part of the wand in place, as it became loose and rotated and retracted into the plastic housing while attaching one of the ear cones. After those two changes, it's much easier to use. It does take a little practice to use it efficiently, but it does a good job. It was well worth the $20 price.

Works well, good set of attachment, price high - hence 4 starPicture quality is good, not HD but good because of 3.9mm thinness can reach greater depth

Very quick delivery. Super easy to use, great quality of image. I downloaded AN98 app to use on Samsung 10, and so far no issues. It records videos and takes pictures

There are multiple uses for this camera, and the value is amazing! Whether you want to see if there is something in your ear, or a child's ear, this is it. The camera will look into those other small spaces such as the nose (looking for missing toys?) and a clear view of your throat. But the even bigger advantage is you can take a picture, and now with telemedicine you can send the image to the doctor so they can SEE you. And a good baseline is a never a bad thing. Know what a healthy ear looks like, so when your ear is bother you, you will be able to recognize the difference.

It's easy to use and very cool! I get ear infections when I get colds so I got this to monitor it. It works well and my family thinks it's cool lol. Easy to use with kids.

I can't believe how cheap this item is! Good, high quality item. Comes with an attachment for a perpendicular angle too. Works well with the Windows 10 camera app.
