I also own the DeWalt version which is about eight times the price. They function similarly except this one uses compressed air while the DeWalt one uses a battery. It's ergonomic and is great for sanding in hard to reach areas like for deck railings or for sanding large pieces where it would be awkward to take a regular belt sander to.The end pushes in for attaching new belts then pops out when you press the black bar on the side. It's a little hard to use but easier with practice.I recommend this one as it's excellent value for the price and comes with a ton of sanding belts.

This is a great pneumatic airbelt sander set. It has a small footprint to get in those tight places. This is one of those things you didn’t know you needed until you got it. Comes with lots of sanding belts and is a good value.

I do a lot of woodworking as well as tinkering around with some welding. This little sander is great for all kinds of uses. I will mostly be using it for shaping wood pieces and a little bit of cleaning up weld splatter or prepping for welding. I have a flap wheel on an angle grinder that I use too but this will be great at getting in to harder to reach places that I can't get to with the flap wheel. The sander came almost ready to go right out of the box. I just put quick disconnect fitting on the back end. (Use teflon tape...not included) Then dropped a few drops of air tool oil in the fitting hole, connected my compressor line adjusted to 90 psi and was ready to go. This tool was already fitted with a sanding belt and there are another 13 of them included as spares (Really like that). I had zero issues with the belt trying to walk off the rail and changing the belt is as easy as pressing in on the end of the roller rail until it locks in to place. Once your new belt is in place, simply press the release on the side of the rail and it will reapply tension to the belt and you're ready to sand again. I like that it also has the trigger lock lever/switch so that it doesn't accidentally start running if you set it down and hit the trigger. The tool feels very solid and as long as you keep it oiled and stored properly, it should last a very long time.

Pretty nice little sander, I've used these types of sanders before, but this is the first one I've owned. Setup was super simple, just need to screw in the air inlet quick connect fitting (use teflon tape, not included). Some sandpaper was already installed on the tool, so it was ready to go. Removing and installing sandpaper is as easy as pushing the end of the tool towards the air hose, it locks into place and releases the tension on the sanding belt. Once you install the new sanding belt, there is a latch to depress to re-apply the tensioner. The angle can also be changed, but requires use of the included allen wrench to loosen and retighten after adjusting the angle. I do wish this was tool-less as well, but can't have it all at this price point. Overall a very nice tool and look forward to using this a lot around the shop.

If you live in a corrosive environment, you do not want this. I had a room of tools briefly take on a little salt, and of all things this one tool looked the absolute worst. It was so bad that I just threw it away rather than try to wash/restore it. Inferior build/parts from the looks of it.

Nice and slim. Very similar to the Mac Tools air sander. But at a 3rd of the cost. Would absolutely recommend.

Great little sander. Makes quick work of cleaning around small rust holes. Gets into tight spaces easily.Toolless belt changes. Just press the locking lever down and compress the ends together. The angle of the belt holder to the handle requires turning a set screw, but the needed 4mm hex key is included. The trigger is a long paddle-type switch, with a small lever as a safety.Aside from the obvious (compressor, hose, etc.), you will need some teflon tape to replace the temporary plug with the included air fitting, and some pneumatic tool oil to prep and maintain the tool (but, if you're shopping for air tools, you probably already have both). The kit comes with a small assortment of sanding belts to get you started, and replacements are available on Amazon, from various vendors and brands.I found that a clip designed for a D-cell Maglight flashlight is perfect for mounting the tool on the wall -- just make sure to mount it with the air fitting up, so it doesn't drip oil all over. I also like to put a cap on the air fitting when it's not being used (Nose spray caps work beautifully).
