We are very happy with this fence system for our puppy. It is quite sturdy and the two foot supports that it comes with will prevent it from being knocked over when puppy grows older. It has a smooth, hard finish which my puppy does not gnaw at. We like being able to reconfigure the shape in order to use it as a freestanding fence in different locations, which are quite stable with the use of the foot supports and by folding the fence into a bit of a “w” pattern. The hinges rotate 360 degrees, enabling easy shaping. My only disappointment was that two of the vertical slats did not quite abut the horizontal slats at the top, leaving a gap of perhaps 1/16 of an inch. We no longer notice this and view it as a minor issue but it is one the manufacturer should address in their product quality control. The vertical slats are attached with a dowel at the end that are well secured, so the fence remains strong.

This felt like a sturdy gate when we first got it. It has some wright to it which we liked. After a month or so of use the pieces are popping apart. We are going to try adding super glue.

I use these to create a fence around the Christmas tree so that my dog and toddler grandchild who both love to steal ornaments cannot get to the tree. They look classy with the dark wood. The simple stands help keep it in place and life is easier.

Pricier than other options but worth it to avoid the hassle of trial-and-error with cheaper products or home-brewed "solutions". These gates provide a sturdy-yet-flexible means of blocking doorways and other paths your pooch might take, keeping them out of areas where they don't belong. They also look nice, which is not the case with other pet barriers (or baby gates commandeered for pet purposes). Incuded "feet" help to stabilize when fence must stand on its own. Only possible concern there is with very large breeds who might be tempted to "bulldoze" the gate; in that case will need to secure by other means (ex: pinned between the back of a couch and a wall). We have a working breed pup that is full-grown, who has his moments of running and leaping in the house (with impressive "altitude and air-time" abilities). However he doesn't ever attempt to jump these barriers or knock them over. Their height and appearance are enough that he instantly understood he wasn't going anywhere, so he accepts this as a boundary and doesn't cause any further mischief.Other: Well-made using quality materials. With proper care should last a long time in most households.

Very sturdy. Very well made. Looks very nice on our stairway landing. Folds to open very easily to pass through. Serves as a barrier to keep our 55 pound dog from going upstairs to where the carpet is. I am very pleased.

Frankie-pickles was not able to jump over this gate. It is nice and tall, well made, easy to unpack and the rungs are close enough together so as to not create an entrapment for small puppy heads. The walnut color is very nice. Easy to set up and shape to different areas. We have one at the bottom of a stairs and one in a doorway. Will be using the two sections together to protect my Christmas Tree from the puppy. Look forward to the day I’ll need these for grand babies too!
