I love the French door design, my dogs like it, the crossover from a flap doggie door to the French doors took less than 15 minutes to get both dogs coming and going at will without hesitation.My only con is a big one. The French doors do not always close about 30% of the time, about 10% of those times it does not shut all the way, it will fall into place after about a minute or two. The remaining 20%of the time it doesn't close all the way (the human) has to tap it, move the doors, etc. for it to securely seal. Winds can blow it open, most of the time it closes back but when it's 30° outside you will notice the draft when it doesn't close all the way. I am glad I waited for it to go on sale before I replaced my old extreme weather 3 flap dog door. I feel like I still overpaid. If the doors closed as intended, it would be worth the money. Them not closing every single time is either a design flaw, poor craftsmanship, improper installation or defective parts/pieces etc. unacceptable when there are so many other tried and true dog doors, especially when the product in question has a higher price point, has a different type of design , it cannot afford to not be 100%The doors are shipped securely. The box clearly states what the product is.

The door arrived in perfect condition. Installation took a little time but was pretty straight forward once I got into it. The door seems sturdy, seems like a good value for the money. Our dog learned how to use the door on day one.

I just installed my new doggie door. So far really like this door. My old doggie door had the flap that wear out quickly & break. This doggie door the flaps are sturdy & fit well together. The frame is strong not flimsy.The only test left is, how well it does when the wind blow. I will update next time we get a strong wind storm.

Initially I had lower expectations due to the lower price compared to many dog doors the same size. After unpackaging and installing, I am honestly impressed. I have previously had a dog door that was all plastic and got destroyed quickly, this door will definitely last longer than the last. Install was simple, came with a guide. I am very happy with the purchase. The door has different flaps that are magnetic compared to traditional dog doors but my dogs were able to figure it out quickly. The only thing that I would change would be the screws that came with the item, I had a couple of them break so I had to use alternate screws which did not change the functionality of the product. I would still definitely recommend

Easy to install and seemed well made. You do need some tools and mechanical ability. At first the doors didn't want to return to the shut position fully. It seemed to wear in a little.

Shipping was spot on. It arrived undamaged and well packaged. The height and width is perfect for all my furbabe's. We have 3 different sizes and finding a dog door to fit them all is challenging. Instructions are clear and easy to follow for installation. Wife likes the French door style, however she wasn't paying attention and cut herself on one of the corners. We're used to plastic frames and the aluminum got her. Lol! She especially likes the inner security door because it's also aluminum and sturdier than most. Best choice for our needs.

I’ve owned several dog doors over the years, and, unfortunately, I’ve had to replace them every few years due to wear and tear. This time, I decided to try a French dog door, and I’m thoroughly impressed with my decision. The quality is exceptional, and the installation process was straightforward and hassle-free. Most importantly, my dogs are enjoying it, which speaks volumes about its functionality and design.What really stands out is the durability of this door. I believe it will last for many years, unlike the others I’ve owned. I also appreciate the thoughtful design—if one of the sides ever breaks, it's easy to replace with just the push of a button.The door is installed on the south side of my house, which gets quite a bit of wind. While the doors remain securely closed, I plan to add the sliding closure to fully eliminate any drafts in my barn. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and long-lasting dog door.
