This kit will work on both the 950 and 975 but it is much cheaper than the kit just for the 950. I just bought one to have it on site if I need it at this price you can't go wrong

Clearly there is a serious problem with this product do not purchase unless you wanna be pulling your hair out wondering why the bottom of your back flow is gushing out water with new parts. This is unacceptable and should be pulled from people purchasing

Came with all the parts needed to repair my backflow! My sprinkler company said it couldn’t be repaired and wanted to charge me over $500 for a new backflow! WTFI REPAIRED IT MYSELF FOR UNDER $70.It works just like new now!

Received the package and first off did not expect everything to be jammed into one little box. After opening it I found an "instruction" sheet inside for a differant back flow preventer than the one I ordered the kit for. Everything looks to be correct for my model and the label on the outside of the box has my model number so we'll see. I haven't installed it because I've ordered it to have just in case mine has a problem, several residents have had issues with theirs lately. Will update if the time comes to use it and it doesn't work. If it works its certainly way cheaper than what local plumbers are charging.

My backflow is 7 years old so I figured it was time to rebuild it. I bought this rebuild kit and not the back flow will not seal. I removed everything and then reinstalled it 3 times. All 3 time it just pours water out of the bottom. Will be requesting a refund and installing my old parts again.Very disappointed.Updated review: I ordered a replacement and the leaking has stopped. The large seal is still not cut exactly correct but it works. Changed from 1 to 3 stars. Too much work to troubleshoot someone else’s imperfections

It fixed the leak and was completed in 10mins. The kit arrived quickly and priced well below all the other options I looked into. The bolt holes for the relief valve diaphragm were slightly misaligned yet didn't create an issue or cause a new leak.

Had a back flow preventer that was leaking and was not looking forward to spending $400 plus for a new one. Found out I could rebuild instead, saving hundreds. Found this kit, for $130 less than my local sprinkler shop. Could have spend $30 less, going with the “seal” kit which is just the O rings, bladder and gaskets but decided to replace everything. Took me 30 minutes to rebuild and my BFP works like new. FYI…Have seen reviews about how holes don’t line up on the bladder, “zebra print” faces out for those who are looking to just replace the bladder. It would also be nice if this kit came with the tool to remove the threaded plastic rings that are inside the unit. Overall extremely happy, this kit saved me $450.

It worked. BUT.The first time I installed the kit, I didn't turn down the pressure of the street valve. My backflow valve was getting full street pressure. The kit that I installed, the diaphragm portion, because of so strong water pressure loosened the screw of the plunger. Releasing all the water just like the picture on the left.I bought another kit and reinstalled the entire kit. Greasing all parts. Especially the O-rings.This time, I had the street valve set at 50%.I then turned on the inlet valve of the backflow valve very very slowly. The diaphragm locked in place and the pressure build up with no leaks. I then released the air from the 3 air vents one at a time.It worked! BUT!
