My husband ordered this thermal fuse for our dryer. It fixed our problem and arrived fast. This was the best price I was able to find on this product.

Very easy to install. Super simple and it works as intended. Quality seems good so far. Time will tell how good it works, but for now it’s doing the job just fine. Very affordable if you know how to install it yourself.

The first thing my wife noticed was that the dryer wasn't shutting off....just kept on going until you opened the door (even after 3 hours.) Then we noticed there was no HEAT inside the dryer. Ugh, what's this? After a little bit of an internet search about these problems in general, and our old Whirlpool gas dryer, circa 2000 (model number LGR3624JQ0) I found that this thermal fuse is usually the most likely culprit...and should be a quick and inexpensive fix. Can it be??So, finding the correct part here on Amazon from BlueStars for $5.94, I thought why not give it a try? Following some instructions found on YouTube after the part arrived 2 days later, I got busy. Unplugging the dryer, scooching it out from the wall (ours is gas, but fortunately we have a long enough gas line that I could pull the dryer out far enough to get behind it and work without having to disconnect the line.)Using a 1/4-inch socket, I took out all of the 9 or so screws all around the back panel and set it aside. I also had to disconnect the dryer vent--that ended up being the worst part of the job, more on that in a bit. Setting the back panel aside, I was able to easily find the thermal fuse. Removed the 2 wires connected to it, and using the 1/4-inch socket, removed the single screw holding it. Reversed everything from here, and that's when the dryer vent hose got to be a royal pain. The stubby little pipe that sticks out the back of the dryer, just past the back panel only by about a 1/2-inch, it seems. Getting the hose slipped on that tiny area and the clamp tightened down to hold the hose to the vent pipe was umm, challenging to say the least. After several atttempts and many curse words later, I finally *did* get it done. I held it firmly while my wife gently pushed the dryer back into place. But this was really an easy job, overall...and miraculously, this really CHEAP part cured everything! Dryer is working again, flawlessly. I don't know how much that would've cost to have fixed, but I know it would have been MANY, MANY TIMES over the less-than-six-bucks that I spent. If you've never done anything like this before (I hadn't) don't be overwhelmed. These things aren't that complicated or as daunting as they may seem at first. I also replaced the drum belt, idler pulley, and rear drum rollers immediately after doing the fuse--but that's another review (and another relatively easy repair!) With just a little bit of research and the right attitude, you can save yourself a ton of money, and have the satisfaction of knowing that you are a bit more self-sufficient!Good luck....and good...drying! :)

Good product, accurate description allowed me to easily pick the right model for my dryer. It however blew again after 2 days, but I do no think it is because of a faulty fuse. Probably the heating unit is faulty and creates a surge that keeps blowing the thermal fuse.
