Don’t waste your time. Stick with sand. My pool stayed green until I switched back to sand.

Was skeptical when I opened the little fluff balls, but after replacing the sand in my filter for my 10,000 gal above ground pool with them I am so happy. The water is crystal clear this year and I haven’t backflushed the filter once. I no longer have sand sneaking through the return port.

I needed my patio pond that was full of green water to be clear for an event. I didn't want to harm my plants or fish by using chemicals. I split the feed off my pump and only ran half of it thru a filter sock full of these "cotton balls" as they have a small enough micron to actually capture the single cell algae that causes green water. Even without the proper housing, the water was cleared up the next morning. When it gets too full of gunk to be useful, just dump them out onto a window screen and spray them off with a hose. Will not fix the underlying issues that are causing green water (too many nutrients), but worked fantastically in a pinch! I can only imagine how well they work in a system they were designed for.

These balls work perfectly in my sand filter pump for my stock tank pool. I liked how the packaging was vacuum sealed! Punctual delivery! Definitely recommend this product.

Been using for 1 week now and when I turn the pump on dirt settles in the bottom of pool from the return line.

I was a bit skeptical about these balls but ran them this summer and they were great as it was also the first time I ran salt water and my pool was nice, and crystal clear all season it was almost maintenance free. HIGHLY recommend really an awesome product turned me into a believer.
