Wasn’t quite sure what to expect with these threaded inserts, but I have been pleasantly surprised at their usefulness and quality! These function as you would imagine, I like to use a little bit of cyanoacrylate glue or resin to really help embed these into the wood. But I know a lot of woodworkers out there don’t use any adhesive and they work fine for them. you can easily install these threaded inserts with a flathead screwdriver, just make sure to under drill the hole and you will get a good purchase in the wood. There’s many helpful videos on YouTube that will walk you through the process.I was apprehensive that they would not be able to hold the weight of the metal legs I wanted to put on a wooden table, but these are doing a phenomenal job. Just four of these inserts are holding one set of legs, and their durability appears to be long lasting and holds them firmly.I don’t think I will ever go back to the more expensive threaded inserts now that I know these do the exact same thing. They’re easy to use and work great! Definitely recommend checking them out!

These should work great for any project that you make, use and then store away until the next time, saving space on your work bench. Or wherever you want to save space. In my case these are the perfect answer for a long term problem. For years I used long lag screws to secure my garage attic hatch. In and out so many times that they no longer held. Replacement with 1/4 x20 hex bolts solved the problem since they were going into 3 1/2” of wood. But they too failed after too many ins and outs. The holes are now filled by the bolt inserts, and the old bolts now go into metal and not wood. Problem solved.

This set of nutserts and bolts is very handy. They are well machined and fit smoothly together. The brass inserts are easy enough to install with a hex wrench or bit. The included bolts are sturdy and work well for items like furniture or fixtures where hidden fasteners aren’t always an option.

These are well made and solid. I used only the threaded inserts, subbing tee-bolts for the included screws to fasten a cover for my crawl space entry. Worked well.

***FULL DISCLOSURE: Item was received for free through the Amazon Vine program in exchange for an unbiased review.***A threaded insert kit is a great thing to have around the shop for various projects. My only complaint about these (and indeed with most hex-driven bolts) is that they cam out a bit when tightening. Aside from that, it's a good spare parts thing to have on hand.

I use these for attaching tabletops to legs in woodworking projects. Seem to be of fine quality and do the job.!
