These were a little large for my application (should have ordered the 7/8", my own fault).I made them work, however, by cutting off the hook part at the end, then rebending into a new hook.The manufacturer recommended against using them in drywall, but I did anyway, as the item they're supporting is very light, less than a pound.One improvement would be to make the screw part longer by about 2X, as it's very short. This would make it stronger and more secure in the mounting surface, minus one star.

My husband purchased these large hooks to hang a decorative wooden object ( a lovely handmade walnut baguette cutting board) on our wall. Perfect solution. Quick shipping. Highly recommend.

The hooks work and seem decent enough but the description is dishonest. It says there are 30 in each box. I purchased two boxes and each only had 25 in it. There is a label on the box says it contains 30 and an old label that we found underneath that says 25. I’m disappointed in the inaccurate description and feel a little cheated. I chose these specifically because I needed 60 for the project I’m working on. So be warned you’ll probably only get 25 if you buy this.
