They are strong and easy to screw into the walls, ceiling, or bedframe. The finish does not get scratched by hooks, straps, chains, rope, or handcuffs.

These will do the job we ordered them for but they are definitely NOT stainless steel as described. Some of the finish (zinc maybe) is already wearing off. The product description should be updated.

These are strong, reasonably price, screw eyes. I’m using them to secure several cable/pulley stations for my home gym set up. It’s key to have this strong anchor which takes the full force of the weights used in various cable exercises. The problem with some screw eyes is that they bend and break under repetitive use. For my purposes these screw eyes are perfect for the load they are expected to sustain; not enormous weight but in excess of 200 lbs. After drilling a pilot hole the screw eyes can be screwed into place using a large screw driver or other length of steel bar for leverage.

The eyelets on this are no more than 5/8 of an inch nowhere near one and 1/8. sent it back. Also, the quality looks fairly mediocre.

Worked great for setting the 6x6x16' PT Posts.Predrilled the hole to shank width/just under threads area and screwed into the ends for easy lifting with skidsteer boom vs. struggling by hand setting.
