How to use the .30-06 boresighter?
1.Set your rifile or other firearm in a gun vise or other stable platform.
2.Twist the end cap of the bore sighert by turning counter clockwise.
3.Insert the 3 batteries (+ side up)into the red dot laser boresighter.
4.Turn the end cap clockwise until it is slightly snug(now you can see the red laser).
5.Insert the boresighter 30-06 into the ampty rifle’s chamber and close the bolt.
6.Align your firearm so that the laser is centered on the bull’s-eyes.
7.Adjust your scope so that the reticle of the scope matches with the laser and bull’s-dyd alignment.
8.Remember to remove the boresighter before attempting to load your gun with live ammunition.
Please note the following......
1.This boresighter is completely designed according to the overall dimensions and specifications of 30-06/.270 gun caliber , and its structure is very compact. Therefore, there is no special power switch. It will start working after you install the battery. Since the positive pole of the button battery is in direct contact with the product shell, it is normal for the product to start working before you close the back cover.
2.Do not dry-fire your firearm while the boresighter is inserted.Doing so may cause damage to the boresighter.
3.Avoid direct eye exposure.

I was skeptical but the laser bore sight fit the chamber of my .270. The laser was strong enough to reach out to approximately 100 yds and I was able to get roughed in and on target.

I bought this hoping to bore sight two different guns with 2 new scopes both 30-06. First issue is you can’t even close the bolt. Evey time you adjust scope and look back down it again the dot is some where else. It fits to loosely to even get it close. This has my scope so far out of whack. At 25 yards I think i was shooting 18”-2’ off the paper. May work good for the other calibers. But it shouldn’t be advertised for 30-06

This bore sighter will pay for itself. I only use 2 or 3 shots to sight in. The rest of the ammunition can be used for practice and hunting.
