This laser bore sight tool works great and i use it all the time prior to going out to the range to get a more accurate zero with the ammo I’m using. This tool saves me time and ammo.

Good price. It gets the job done. Eats batteries. They give you enough to load it with batteries twice. Lasted long enough to dial in three separate gun sights. I have never used one before so have nothing to compare it to. It was well worth the price for me to get on paper and save ammo.

I like how easy it makes to get the scope adjusted to hit the paper. I don't like that there's not an on/off switch and it can't be used out in sunlight. Inside it worked great, outside it couldn't be seen.

I purchased 2 Bore Sights, this one and one from another manufacturer. The other was made of plastic, this one is more metallic, thus this one feels better quality. The other one stopped working as soon as I closed the bolt. I had to return it.The laser is bright up close and gets harder to see the further you move the target. I did not use it outside. I tried it here at home right out of the box to see how bright it is and it's bright, even at 25 yards, however, looking at it through my optic is a different story. Thru the optic, its easier to see up close and gets hard to see the further you get. At 20 yards, it was difficult to see through my Holosun Green Dot.I watched a few videos on youtube before buying which helped alot. I also made sure to gently close the bolt to ensure it was snug in the barrel because it can affect the accuracy of the laser.Something it helped me see was how the red dot can change at different distances, ie. 10 yards, 15 yards, 20 yards, etc.I'd recommend it. I didn't expect a bore sight this cheap to get me to absolute zero, but if you've recently purchased a firearm and aren't able to make it to the range to zero your optics, this is a great option for the price.

I'm am a student of the AR-15 platform, so I'm not an expert, but I know enough. Basically, this is not a german engineered product made to give you an absolute zero accuracy. This is meant to get you on the paper, so that you can fine tune your scope or sights at the range, or class, or where ever. Don't expect to slam this into the chamber, adjust your scope and be ready to hit bullseyes at a 100 yards... In fact, don't expect to hit bulleyes at all... Afterall, you're spending $15 dollars on a laser sight...Pros: It is very very bright. It's very cheapIt's close enough to get you on paper (At least mine was)It's sturdyComes with two sets of batteriesshipped quicklyIt's very cheapCons:It's very cheapIt's not preciseHonestly, I was totally prepared to return it if it was way off, but for the price, I honestly couldn't complain.I was scheduled to take a rifle class the same week that I received this. I had a scope on my rifle that wasn't completely zeroed in, but close. I don't know if this got me much closer to zero, but when I took it to the class, I was probably about 6 clicks away from zero, and have to waist as much ammo as some of the other guys, so I couldn't complain.I've noticed that when you remove and reinsert this sight, it is not always exactly the same, which leads me to believe that either it's not perfectly flush within the barrel, or the laser is slight off, so when the cartridge happens to be turned a little different, it gives you a different laser projection. So, if you have a scope that is way off, this will get you on the paper enough to adjust and zero it in at the range. The picture I've attached shows the lazer point at around 30 yards after I had it well zeroed in. It's not terrible.
