I bought this light for the cutting/drafting table in my sewing room. My table is 48" wide and 72" long. I screwed this light center back and it is perfect. Easy to adjust to focus light where I need it - which is especially handy when I am drafting and adjusting patterns. It locks in place and doesn't wobble. Much easier and cheaper than rewiring my "master bedroom" overhead lighting and more flexible for more than one use!

I needed a desk lamp for painting miniatures for gaming. Very impressed with the flexibility of the light positioning and the many options for brightness and color (whites). The remote control was an added bonus. Great value.

If you've never had a top-lit desk before, this is a life changer. It keeps your desk looking state of the art without any added heat. I love the adjustability and the multiple brightness settings. It comes with a simple control, but you can also control it using buttons on the front of the light itself. It's fairly light weight, and large enough to cover even a big desk.

Overall Excellent, Light intensity adjustable to very bright.. Adjustment positions excellent on arm and light bar. Desk Clamp very good and solid, rotates to accommodate desks. Clamp opens to 2.5 inches.. Would definitely buy again if needed.

At 36 watt a stronger desk light for doing art work when cloudy or at night. With 4 lights I didn't find that I got shadows when I tried to paint. Easy to clamp onto a surface and move. Since you can tilt, don't need to worry about hitting your head. Lots of ways to adjust. Remote control to turn on light and settings for adjustments. It was worth the extra money over a 12W or 24W lamp

The light works really well, outputs plenty of light for my work space of 48". The height of the lamp is tall enough to allow angled adjustments to optimize my light to eliminate the glare from the LEDs (there is no diffuser or reflector to mitigate the glare of the individual LEDs). I love the sharp cutoff of the housing and the ability to rotate the outer/side lights to create an uplighting effect. Other reviewers commented on the "flimsy" construction. I echo this concern but it really does seem strong enough to support its self-weight. My only other concern is that the joints do have any exposed bolts or screws to tighten them over long term use so that could be an issue, down the road. This fixture is 24V (24 watts, I think) and minimum color temperature is 3,000°K and can be increased to 6500°K. It also has stepped and continuous dimming capability. The remote control takes a CR2025 battery and the fixture also has an ambient light sensor for auto turn on/off. Good buy overall - I recommend it.

First, at about 3,000 lumens, really provides the kind of light I wanted. A lot of others are at the 1,200-1.500 lumen level. And this just rocked me as I turned it on. Remember, it is the LUMENS, not the wattage, that measures how much light you get.And also, has a lot of flex in adjusting where you need light. Side pieces can be turned off, angled. several joints from bracket up main bar and then down, and at different directions. The one thing, just a bit less flexible than a plain old gooseneck by using sequential joints. This is a minor issue. I am getting better at this quickly. And, because of spread of the unit and illmination, that itself makes up for some of the minimal loss of positioning. Also, and this is the same as a LOT of the lamps shown, the "touch" buttons. I am just used to reaching up and feeling the toggle. ( Hey, I also wish I had toggles and such back in my newer cars so I could just reach down while driving without having to look at a screen. That is just plain dangerous.)So, with these "touch spot" controls on the lamp, if you come into the dark room...you get the idea. But, well, I am getting used to feeling the few inch wide control box coming off th hoist and just pressing the front edge at the side instead of the middle. Depending on which hand I reach out with, left or right, a thumb touch will turn on center bar or side bars...but I will have light. The really big plus is the amount of light. It is AMAZINGLY better than other lamps I have had. Whether powering just the center two feet or all across, really good. And, like others, color adaptive and intensity changeable for "softer" use. So, yes, it IS close to double some of the others in cost. But for maybe $30-$40 or so more as a one time outlay, what is the point of being unhappy with being at your desk and struggling to read?????????? I had not wanted to spend that either, but am really happy I did pick this unit.
