It has a charge indicator light. The on off switch works with a very light touch. And every time. I recommend this product

Completely cordless. Lightweight. All plastic. Balanced not to tip over. Tap it once to turn on/off. Tap and hold to dim or brighten. It’s bright enough to light up a 20 x 20-foot room. The head is adjustable up and down. It doesn’t rotate 360 degrees. It collapses down to a nice sized cheeseburger with half the toppings. It has a micro-usb port and comes with that Android cable. I switched to Apple i-phone 3 yrs ago but kept the cables in case I converted back. Yippee! There are lots of ways to improve this light. But it doesn’t and I knew that. It works well so why penalize it? If the LEDs last as long as the lightbulbs then I have 10 yrs to think about it. 5-stars!

It's very light but stays in position and doesn't tip over if you don't extend the top too far out. The power button isn't really a button, it's just a spot you touch on the base, and it's not really marked aside from a very faint raised bit, so you have to just sort of know where it is. The light is nice and uniform and decent in color, but it gradually dims as the battery runs down, and the battery has pretty low capacity so you need to recharge quite often (maybe 2-3 hours on high). The charging port is the old micro-USB type and on mine it's flaky, so it won't charge unless I put some tension on the cable with tape or a heavy object. It also charges very slowly. For the price, it's hard to complain too much, though it's increased quite a lot since I bought it, and I wouldn't buy it again for the new price.

In a world where ALL the lighting seems to blow very high levels of EMF onto us, this one is great, with low EMF. Plus the charge lasts a long time, its light weight, folds flat, and dims nicely, Wish they would make it in a few more styles.

It is just what I needed to be able to read while on Dialysis. I can use it but light is not bright enough for MDG. I had to hold Magazine right up to lamp. But I made it work. Battery is rechargeable so you don't have to buy batteries. Good product for the money
