These fit into my 2" hydroponic pots snugly. They are cut with pie shape and allows for flexibility. They come in a clear sleeve and you press the collars out. On some you will need to remove the center plug. One thing I did not like and reason for deducting a star was they smelled heavily of petroleum. I will definitely soak these for several days before using and it does concern me.

The design allows some ability to size the circumference for different pots. I cut off one pie piece of the collar to fit it inside a small plant holder in the water bowl and the one in the white plastic cup is fresh out of the package. The one in the bowl will be permanently holding the philodendron. I wanted something to firmly hold it in that location as it grows up the plant stand.The dense foam is like the foam that is used on floating water fountains outside. It does, eventually grow some algae but it’s easy to clean off. The collar has a good size center hole cut to accept most stems. I do have some hydroponic stations, but I use a different medium in them so I’ll be using these to propagate some different house plants. They should be reusable if they are cleaned after each use.
