Worked well for both r134a and r600a. Annoying that I had to buy a separate adapter. Main problem was that the valve on the can side and the quick-release valve both leaked, so if the can doesn’t seal after unscrewing it, you can’t save the refrigerant. Most of my 12 oz can of r600 was wasted.

Was able to get our old freezer working with thisYou will need an adaptor to screw on to the bullet pierce valve to make it work with the gaugeI would have given it 5 stars for ease of install if it had come with these as the two parts do not work together without it

It is arrived quickly as usual. I read the description and bought that R134 adapter a head of time. Once I have everything ready to go, I got R134 small can from home depot for $10 and started the process. It was very clear that our Kenmore fridge didn't have enough refrigerant. While I was watching the pressure I slowly released the gas and bingo. Now the fridge is cooling very nicely and not anymore high temperature warning. Great DIY tool and I suggest everyone.

Bought this in the whole set vs just the piece that goes onto the coolant so that I would have everything i needed to add coolant to our garage refrigerator on my own since it cost a lot to have someone come out (And it’s just an older junk fridge for extra room 😊🤷🏻♀️) and it doesn’t have everything that you need to do that. 🤬 Don’t be fooled thinking that if you buy the whole set it will include everything you need. It doesn’t! Would’ve been better off just finding the individual piece that I needed from the appliance parts store. Just sayin 👎🏼
