This is supposed to convert an r12 system to an R134A. It may for other makes, but won't fit my 1980 GM. The low pressure side fitting is correct as a 7/16 thread. However, the high pressure fitting is supposed to be a 3/8 thread and it's not. It's the same size as the low pressure. The only real difference is the cap is red and the quick connect is larger. The other problem I had was when I finally got the low pressure fitting screwed on, I was unable to connect the r134a adapter. It would not connect on. I unscrewed the adapter and then it did connect fine to the quick connect. So something going on with the schrader valve in there. In any case, they didn't work for me.
