I mean they sort of work - the videos are a lie - they don’t strip the coatings off easily - they just mangle it. It does a few loops which are good enough to hold up I suppose.It’s still faster just to spin the wires with your pliers or with a wire nut.

It might work as others have said on softer (like copper) wire but I bought it to use with bare stainless steel wire as exterior wire ties and it could not handle wire that small and hard. I have another tool on order which requires threading the wires through specific holes that looks promising but I WON'T GET IT UNTIL NEXT WEEK but I plan to review it too.

I never used one of these before since I’m a do it yourselfer. If you value your time at all, these will pay for themselves in the first hour. They wrapped the wire tighter and faster and also work with some of the wire nuts. Not sure how long they will last. They are not made out of steel. They are only slightly magnetic.

These little things help a lot. I just bought a house and have to do a lot of “rewiring” to get things up to code. I was manually twisting and besides cutting up my hands it was a pain.With these just slide in the wires and hit your drill and whamo never have to look or worry about the wires again.
