These fit into the attached old container rings to the bird cage. Thank goodness that was easy. I wanted extra containers to use when the other ones were dirty.

These are great little bowls. "little" is the operative word here. I was shopping for food and water bowls for my Macaws. While these are wonderful bowls, and I will use them with my Cockatiel, they are too small for Macaws. I would have to change food and water several times a day, and that is not what I am looking for. I would give the bowls 5 stars for smaller birds, even though the description says for parrots and the picture shows a blue and gold macaw, these are definitely NOT large enough for Macaws.

The cage I purchased, which is awesome, has two deep stainless bowls good for large birds but not my newly arrived gouldian finches from gouldian guy Kevin!These bowls are deep enough so that they can hop right in if they dont feel in the mood to bend down, but shallow enough for them to bend in to dine or drink! Hardware is sturdy and tightens nicely for no movement issues.I am very happy with this purchase that is perfect for my needs. I suspect these bowls work well up to a cockatiel or dove sized bird but are great for my wee ones! Set any hesitation aside!

Easy to keep clean as the bowl just slides out of the holder. Used for ferret cage. Tried other bowls that you had to twist out to remove to clean and fill.
